On September 23, 2010, acclaimed South African poet Ingrid de Kok gave a reading of her work. The event was part of the JCU “Women Reading: A Series of Bi-lingual Presentations of Poetry and Prose.” Ms. de Kok read poems from her book Seasonal Fires: New and Selected Poems. Her translator, Paola Splendore, read several of the poems translated into the Italian and published in Mappe del Corpo. The evening was followed by a reception.
