The Creative Writing Workshop is the blog for John Cabot University’s Institute for Creative Writing and Literary Translation. The primary goal of the blog is to serve the needs of student writers, whether at JCU or elsewhere in the world. As such, we provide local and international information about creative writing contests and scholarships, opportunities for publication, articles on developing and understanding elements of craft, literary events as well as current and upcoming creative writing courses at JCU.
Most importantly, the blog is a designated space for JCU students to publish work in any genre related to creative writing.
The material published on this blog is for educational and entertainment purposes only. The contributors to this blog submit work without compensation and retain all rights to the published work.
The opinions expressed, whether in an original article or in a reblogged post, are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the position of John Cabot University, its Board of Trustees, or the Institute of Creative Writing and Literary Translation, the Department of English Language and Literature, its faculty, or staff.
