Happy Monday! Just a quick reminder to keep an eye out for The University of Iowa’s International Writing Program‘s free online courses (MOOCs, Massive Open Online Courses). IWP has announced that it will be offering their course How Writers Write Fiction once again in 2015. Their previous course, How Writers Write Poetry, was offered this past April and was taught by IWP Director Christopher Merrill and poet Camille Rankine, who is the Assistant Director of the Manhattanville College’s MFA Program in Creative Writing.
Although the official date of How Writers Write Fiction has yet to be announced, it will be taught by IWP Director Christopher Merrill and author Angela Flournoy. Visit their Distance Learning page to read about past and upcoming courses as well as other IWP events.
