The Institute for Creative Writing and Literary Translation welcomes Poets Heather Green and Peter Streckfusis.  Green and Streckfusis will be reading from their latest works tomorrow, Tuesday the 3rd, at the University’s Guarini Campus.

Heather Green is the author of the chapbooks: No Omen (LATR Press) and The Match Array (Dancing Girl Press).  Recently her translations of Tristan Tzara’s poetry have been published in several journals, such as Barrelhouse, Denver Quarterly, and Saltgrass Journal. 

Peter Streckfusis is a professor in George Mason University’s Creative Writing Program and the author of two award-winning poetry books: Errings and The Cuckoo. He has been the recipient of multiple fellowships and grants from institutions such as the University of Alabama, the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the Breadloaf Writer’s Conference.     Currently, he is the 2013-2014 Brodsky Rome Prize Fellow in Literature at the American Academy in Rome.
